Greetings,
I would like to welcome you to a unique, fun, and exciting English language school. We are Advance English Academy, an outstanding language school in California, and we are dedicated to helping you learn American English in San Francisco or Berkeley.
We have been offering English as a Second Language classes for students of all ages and levels for over 15 years. We also help students with any visa-related questions so you can relax and enjoy your English learning journey with us.
Learning (American) English involves understanding American culture. If you enjoy and understand American culture, you will enjoy and quickly improve your English. For this reason, we integrate fun events, activities and exciting excursions as part of the AEA program.

Beyond being an attractive city, a blend of yuppie, hippie, and students exists side by side with great Asia-Pacific restaurants, Latin American groceries, high-end organic food halls, and the misty green campus of the University of California, Berkeley. This vibrant and active city is well known for its thriving arts scene, music venues, and lovely Mediterranean climate.
English courses
AEA offers multiple levels of ESL (English as a Second Language) classes and Business English classes. We have a flexible schedule. You can attend classes in the early mornings, late afternoons, and in the evenings.
Our Engaging and Interactive Curriculum is designed to help students learn English more effectively.
Volunteer projects
We believe by helping the people in the city, we can help our students connect with where they study and live. AEA offers optional volunteer activities for students inspired to help our surrounding community and environment, such as volunteering at the beautify Golden Gate Park, helping out at local soup kitchens, etc.
U.S. Culture & Exploration
We love to celebrate the holidays, with a Thanksgiving Feast, a Halloween Costume Party, a Christmas Potluck, and more! We also love to explore! AEA leads students on field trips all over the San Francisco area, including the Golden Gate Bridge and Fisherman’s Wharf.

By advocating local volunteerism and outdoor recreation, Advance English Academy hopes to expand student knowledge, while encouraging an appreciation and understanding of our community, language, and country.
